Concept / FEED studies for an innovative offshore charging point.

Studies have been carried out for an innovative offshore vessel charging point aiming to help to decarbonise the maritime industry by reducing the emissions from vessel idling.

A whole suite of the power system studies were carried out on this project for various stages from concept to aiding the engineering design of the electrical system. Several designs of the charging point have been assessed with HV supply points considered in different geographical locations worldwide to confirm the feasibility of this pioneering technology.
